Founder and Chairman
Mark is driven to see smiling people, wherever he is. He has been, and is committed to, discovering and inventing critical therapeutics and interventions that impact people’s health and happiness in measurable, meaningful ways. He founded MOBE with a vision for a company that would embody his mission to help people live healthier and happier. In addition to MOBE, Mark has founded innovative companies focused on solutions for better population health and well-being including Pairnomix, Applied Insights, Healthware Technologies, and ACOVA.
Mark holds a BA in Business and an MBA in Venture Management from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. He served as CEO and Vice Chair of Upsher-Smith Laboratories for over 15 years, through its sale to Sawai Pharmaceuticals in 2017. He is inspired by his family to discover and develop solutions—where none yet exist—that help people on their Personal Path to Awesome.
Chief Executive Officer
Mike has a passion for creating alignment and acceleration among multiple disciplines, taking organizations he’s led to further success. Having achieved the rank of Colonel in the U.S. Air Force Reserves, it’s easy to see why Mike’s passion for pursuing highly strategic goals at an exhilarating pace is so strong.
Mike has spent his entire career serving people. His accomplishments range from serving our country in the Air Force to watching out for countless people's financial well-being as President of US Bank Private Wealth Management, to his significant executive-level contributions in the health care sector during his time at Optum.
Mike grew up in Chicago, the son of a police officer. His determination to serve led him to the U.S. Air Force Academy. His passion for achievement is only matched by his devotion to his wife Steph and their three kids. He prides himself on staying fit by taking part in all kinds of outdoor activities—apart from golf, which he’ll be happy to tell you about.
Chief Operations and Experience Officer
Meg leads the charge in optimizing the MOBE experience. Her efforts ensure that MOBE teams have the necessary tools, resources, training, and strategies to continuously advance the program for participants—through a one-of-a-kind experience driven by value-based health.
Meg spent more than 25 years reducing the complexity of health care for consumers with technology solutions. She brings a wealth of technology, digital, and strategy experience from her previous leadership positions at world-class health care companies such as Anthem, WebMD Health Services, and UnitedHealth Group. With expertise, integrity, and technical savvy, she inspired the development of MOBE’s digital ecosystem and helped define the MOBE participant journey.
Meg earned her undergraduate degree in economics at Saint John Fisher College, and her master’s in business administration management at Penn State. She has continuously invested time in work that improves lives; for three years, she served on the board of a startup that used maternity data and analytics to help create innovative health plans. Her husband Greg is a licensed clinical social worker and artist, and together they’re avid travelers with love for adventure and metal music.
Chief Financial Officer
As CFO of MOBE, Jeff Warren ensures the company’s resources are properly focused on strategy, execution, and driving sustainable growth. He brings over 20 years of business experience to his role, most gained in health care. Before joining MOBE, Jeff was part of Four Hills Advisors LLC, a strategic capital markets advisory firm. Prior to that, he spent 18 years at Medtronic Inc., working with internal audit, corporate finance, strategic planning, and investor relations departments.
Jeff graduated with a BS in Accounting from Arizona State University. He is passionate about his family and friends, and loves to travel, try exotic foods and sample fine wines.
Chief Strategy Officer and Chief of Staff
Scott champions initiatives in growth at MOBE, with a specific focus on market opportunities and channel diversification. He leads innovative efforts to broaden MOBE's reach with strategic insight and deep knowledge of internal operations and research techniques.
For more than 20 years, Scott has held leadership roles in the health care field, including positions at Harris Interactive, JD Power and Associates, and Medtronic, where he gained valuable expertise in research, strategy, business development, and marketing.
Scott has an undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and a master’s degree from Georgetown University. He’ll tell you that his greatest joy comes from serving others. He has a passion for helping people get the most out of their health care, living life to the fullest, and spending time with his wife Liz and their six children.
Chief Commercial Officer
Kurt’s desire to help people improve their health and happiness is ultimately what brought him to MOBE. His career is guided by the same passion that brings others to this industry—to give people the resources, guidance, and confidence they need to improve their own personal health journey. Kurt’s contributions to the industry include cofounding RedBrick Health (now, Virgin Pulse) and leading as senior vice president for multiple organizations.
Kurt was drawn to MOBE for many reasons, however, there’s one that truly stands out. “MOBE delivers the human element better than anyone else in the category—along with the digital solution, it’s the way forward.” Kurt is heavily focused on supporting MOBE’s commitment to bringing health plans the solutions they need to engage members and improve the individual’s overall health care experience while simultaneously reducing unnecessary health care costs.
Kurt has been married for more than 25 years and has three children—two sons in college and a daughter in high school. Kurt is a graduate of Drake University and earned his MBA from the University of Iowa.
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Doescher is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology with special qualifications in Child Neurology as well as Epilepsy as a subspecialty. He brings significant experience and a focus on comprehensive care to MOBE. For years, he integrated his neurological practice with experts in neuropsychology, clinical psychology, social support, nutrition, pharmacy, community outreach, education, and research.
Dr. Doescher is driving MOBE’s discovery of critical elements that move people on individual paths toward better health. His approach applies energy, empathy, and expertise; he matches state-of-the-art medical science with a thoughtful humanitarian spirit.
Following medical school and residency training, Dr. Doescher completed a fellowship in Epilepsy/Clinical Neurophysiology at the University of Minnesota. He was an adjunct clinical instructor in the Department of Neurology there too; he taught, did research, and community advocacy. He practiced for 15 years with the majority of that time at the Minnesota Epilepsy Group, where he served as Vice President before joining MOBE.
Chief Information and Analytics Officer
As Chief Analytics Officer, Travis leads the end-to-end analytics at MOBE.
In this role, he has oversight of all corporate informatics including operations analytics, health care economics, pricing and underwriting, and data strategy. Travis brings with him significant health care experience after time spent at UnitedHealth Group, Citra Health Solutions, and Rise Health. Whether directing analysts, auditing pricing and contracts, or developing new monitoring tools, Travis knows the health care world inside and out.
Travis graduated Cum Laude from Augustana College in Illinois with a BA in Finance and Economics. He was captain of their basketball team earning Academic All-Conference and was a four-time recipient of the National Scholar-Athlete Award.
Chief Marketing Officer
Award-winning marketing campaigns are becoming a habit for Anne. Our Chief Marketing Officer has developed several award-winning consumer communication campaigns supporting growth and program engagement. At MOBE, Anne is responsible for the strategic and tactical execution of all aspects of Marketing Communications. Anne brings with her an immense amount of experience in health and wellness communications and team development. She previously worked at Life Time Fitness and RedBrick Health where she spearheaded the development of several consumer communication products.
Anne graduated from Iowa State University with degrees in advertising and design.
She enjoys being active with her family by skiing, biking, doing anything on the water, and she truly loves cooking.
Senior Vice President, Health Outcomes Strategy
Leslie designs medication initiatives for MOBE participants that are hyper-personalized. These action plans address the complexity of each medication while highlighting the important role they can play when achieving health goals. She inspires her team to help others think critically about, understand, and get the best results possible from their medications while also making other healthy choices. Prior to joining MOBE, Leslie built a career at Upsher-Smith Laboratories, leading efforts to incorporate patient, provider, researcher, and advocacy group insights early in the pharmaceutical research and development process.
Leslie received a doctorate in pharmacy from the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy before completing a multi-year post-graduate residency in pharmaceutical care and leadership and becoming board certified in pharmacotherapy. She is passionate about mentoring and keeps a relationship with the University to provide unique, business-focused experiences to pharmacy students and graduates.
Senior Vice President, Lifestyle and Medication Services
Alynn is accountable for all participant-facing business areas within MOBE. She drives value for both clients and participants by optimizing resources that ensure participants receive the best possible care, while also making health care more accessible and sustainable.
She has committed her career to finding the sweet spot between exceptional patient care, improved quality of life, and cost savings. Before joining MOBE, Alynn spent the past 20 years as a PharmD in health care administrative leadership and executive roles, focused on establishing and optimizing teams and processes across various health care industry sectors, including health plans/health systems, pharmacies, and Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs).
Alynn has gained valuable insights into various aspects of health care delivery, administration, and innovation through working at organizations like Kaiser Permanente, Express Scripts, and EnvisionRXOptions.
After living in Ohio for many years, Alynn now calls Minneapolis home. She loves Minneapolis and enjoys daily morning walks with her partner Darren and “Les the Dog” around Lake of the Isles.
Vice President, Human Resources
Katie is a seasoned professional dedicated to fostering equitable and results-driven environments. Her extensive background includes designing and implementing innovative HR programs that drive organizational success and employee satisfaction. She excels at creating programs that ensure equity across all levels of the company, leveraging her comprehensive knowledge of HR best practices to support diverse and inclusive hiring, employee retention, and competitive benefit offerings.
Her passion for aligning HR initiatives with business goals has enabled Katie to develop and execute strategies that enhance employee engagement, retention, and performance. She is known for her collaborative approach, working closely with leadership to identify and address workforce challenges and opportunities.
Katie holds a bachelor’s degree in business and a master’s certification in Human Resources and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). Her commitment to continuous learning and improvement drives her to stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, ensuring that her teams are always at the forefront of HR innovation.
As the Vice President of Human Resources, Katie leads HR, benefits, and talent acquisition initiatives with a strategic vision and a deep commitment to understanding the business needs of the organization.
Vice President, Program Design and Development
Santo oversees program design and development at MOBE, as well as educational content creation. Enthusiastic about the power of lifestyle choices, he’s determined to build solutions that educate and empower participants to find their own best health. Santo has a wealth of health care and health plan experience. He has spent over 35 years doing everything from clinical practice in musculoskeletal care, neurology, sport injuries, and nutrition to creating musculoskeletal programs, medical policy, process, and more.
Santo received his BA from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life College, and MS in clinical nutrition from University of Bridgeport. He’s a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) and has multiple certifications in chiropractic sports physician, adult weight management, blood flow restriction rehabilitation, and botanical medicine. Santo is passionate about his family, fitness, healthy cooking, boating, and basketball, and firmly believes in the impact of lifestyle on long-term health and happiness.

Mr. Wicks has served as a member of Pear’s board of directors since June 2022 and is a member of the Audit Committee and Compensation Committee. Mr. Wicks was at UnitedHealth Group until his retirement in 2021. During his nearly 20 years at the company, he held a broad range of executive leadership positions, including executive oversight for Optum Financial (the largest healthcare-focused bank and financial services firm in the United States with over $15B in assets), the chief financial officer of Optum ($120B+ revenue), head of the supply chain, and president and chief executive officer of OptumRx ($60B+ revenue). Additionally, he held various leadership roles in operations, product management, business development, and strategic relationships at UnitedHealthcare and Optum. He was also a board member of Optum360, Optum’s joint venture in revenue cycle management with external partners CommonSpirit and Northwell Health. Previously, Mr. Wicks was a chief financial officer and president and chief operating officer of Yellow Corp ($5B revenue), the holding company for trucking carriers YRC Freight, New Penn, Holland, and Reddaway and freight brokerage HNRY Logistics. He has held executive positions at Dell Technologies, Bain & Company, and Northwest Airlines. In addition, he co-founded a registered investment advisory firm that developed quantitative investment strategies for institutional clients.
Mr. Wicks has served on the boards of two public companies: Precision Castparts Corp (sold to Berkshire Hathaway for $37B), and Aerojet Rocketdyne. He served on both companies' Finance and Audit committees and is an SEC financial expert. He is also actively engaged in supporting the growth of several private companies. He earned a BA in economics, with honors, from the University of Chicago and an MBA from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Business.

Dev is the CEO and Co-founder of Ascendant Advisory Group. Having spent most of his career in the private equity and venture capital industry, along with being a serial entrepreneur, he has started, grown, exited, invested, and advised countless businesses, all focusing on outperforming the industry and investor expectations.
With his fresh approach to developing and integrating workplace cultures, his insistence on being customer-centric, and his requirement that everyone be personally invested in the company’s success, Dev Warren has taken multiple companies from average to high performing. Developing and implementing strategic visions and plans, building strong cultures, and focusing on expedited and educated decision-making, have always been key elements in Dev’s success.
Under his leadership, AAG has become one of the top M and A/Consulting Firms in the outdoor, firearms, healthcare, and defense sectors. The scope of the company has expanded into international transactions with a focus on Sports and Healthcare. AAG has offices in Whitefish, MT, and Los Angeles, CA.
Having spent 20+ years in the investment world as a CEO, CFO, Director of Corporate Development, and Accenture Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Process Improvement Director, Dev has developed innovative and proven methods for assuring successful growth, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. With years of experience molding the cultures of companies acquired under his direction, Dev has a truly unique approach that leaves nothing to chance and helps ensure success. His work integrating cultures during the M & process has allowed for the unprecedented expansion of holding companies under singular leadership teams.
Prior to founding AAG, Dev worked with Anderson ZurMuehlen, Blue Cross, and Blue Shield of Montana, and with M7/Imperium/VISI/Fairchild. He has continually managed his own entrepreneurial enterprises in real estate, leasing, consulting, excavation, and telecommunications. He is also a dynamic speaker and coach, having worked extensively with the top 50 accounting firms in the world and delivering keynote addresses throughout multiple industries.
Dev is active in fundraising and support for wounded veterans and outdoor-focused causes for the disabled. He has a bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University and lives in Whitefish, Montana with his wife, Megan, and their three boys.
Advisory Board Member
Paul Jenkins is the President and Founder of Bancroft Architects + Engineers, one of the country’s leading designers of hospitals, laboratories, and pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. In addition to designing more than 10 million square feet of health care space for the Department of Veteran Affairs, Bancroft has designed international projects for clients around the world, including a bio-safety lab for the World Health Organization in Outer Mongolia and an advanced mobile medical center for the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia.
A serial entrepreneur and innovator, Jenkins earned his first patent in the aviation industry shortly after graduating from the Naval Academy. His most recent patent is for a pathogen eradication system created to support facilities that require exacting rarified environments.
In addition to an engineering degree from Annapolis, Jenkins holds an advanced degree from the University of Chicago. He is currently preparing for his doctoral defense in Biomedical Engineering at the Colorado State University.
Over the course of his career, he has held numerous positions of leadership, including Vice Chairman of the International Ports Authority and Director of the Chicago Police Department.

This knowledge and firsthand experience drives Leverage Health to provide health care payers with innovative solutions that optimize efficiencies and generate revenue.
